HOME STAGING

After setting an appointment, please review the information below to ensure your property is ready to photograph. Here you will read all the requirements for photography both from the sky and on the ground.

Staging Inside

• All light fixtures work properly
• Closets, tidy with nicely hung clothing, floors cleared
• Turn every single light ON
• Hide (out of sight):
  Trashcans
  Cleaning supplies
  Magazines
  Books
  Coffeemakers (etc.)
  Tissue boxes
  Religious items
  Political items
• Towels on towel bars      
• Add, or remove, artwork      
• Remove toilet covers      
• Remove rugs; unbroken floor space increases perceived square footage      
• Clean all windows, glass, counters      
• Dust everything      
• Remove cobwebs      
• Curtains, fresh looking      
• Open all window and door covers; let all the light in
• Broken decorations
• Refrigerator, free of magnets, kids’ drawings, fingerprints
• Exposed power cords
• Bedrooms, beds made, tidy
• Turn OFF
  Ceiling fans
  Computers (screens, specifically)
  Televisions

Staging Outside

• Prune trees, foliage
• Hide (or out of sight):
  Trash cans
  Lawn equipment
  Vehicles
  Toys (including in pool areas)
• All light fixtures work properly      
• Turn every single light ON (for twilight shoots)      
• Grass, freshly cut and raked      
• Clean, Swept, & Dry      
  Driveways      
  SidewalksPool, clean, clear water
  Patios
  Decks
  Staircases

General Items

• Vehicles
  Driveways clear
  No parking in front of home
• Garage
  No vehicles
  Clean, de-cluttered
  As much ‘off’ floor as possible
• Pets
  Fish/Reptiles in clean tank, Ok
  All other pets out of sight
